Our Modular ESL Enrollment™

Nomen Global Language Centers has developed a modular system of rotating blocks each semester to provide students with dynamic and challenging curriculum.

Simply put, the school has three semesters in a given year: Winter, Spring, and Fall. Each semester is about four months long.

There are a total of 7 levels at Nomen Global, ranging from beginner (levels 1 and 2), intermediate (levels 3 and 4), and advanced (levels 5, 6, and 7). Each time a student completes a semester in his or her level, they advance to the next level the following semester.

The semesters are broken down further into two-week sections called blocks. There are 8 blocks in a semester. Each block is self-contained, meaning that you do not need to understand the material in the first block in order to understand the material in the second block. Each block is independent rather then sequential.

A student may enroll in school during any block because of this, not just at the beginning of a semester. In whichever block a student begins, that is where his or her own personal semester begins also. Only after the student completes a full 8 blocks in one level can he or she advance to the next level. A student will not advance when the school changes semesters unless they have finished all of the blocks in the level they are currently in.
